Japanese Lap Pillow
Known as the Hizamakura Lap Pillow, the idea is simple: it’s a pillow shaped like a woman’s lap.
Okay, the most obvious problem with this is the fact that no grown person would use this in public. The second is the fact that it feels a little creepy to sleep on a pillow of legs without bodies.
Lap pillows seem to come up a lot as a form of comfort or intimacy in Japanese pop culture so this could be chalked up to the culture in the end.
