Just with a quick glance at the math, Will & Grace shouldn’t be 11 seasons long if it started all the way back in 1998, more than two decades ago. That’s because it went off the air in 2006, and didn’t come back until 2017.

There really wasn’t any indication that it was ever coming back, but the cast reunited in 2016 for a ten-minute special. The online-only episode went viral, which prompted NBC to decide on a short run of episodes. A few years later, it’s currently on its 3rd new season, and 11th overall.
