Juggalo Makeup The Way To Block Facial Recognition

Samuel Reason - January 17th, 2020

If you need to walk through an airport while evading facial recognition cameras then the way to do it maybe by using Juggalo makeup. Though we do not think this is a great idea as you will probably be stopped by security anyways. Still, it is an interesting concept that certain styles of makeup make the wearer impossible to be identified by automatic facial recognition cameras.

The story of how this was figured out is quite a funny one. Ticketmaster and LiveNation, two major companies that deal with selling concert tickets for the biggest music events in the world, have been investing heavily in military-grade facial recognition companies. The idea is that they want to speed up the process of entering a concert, while also making it more secure. Of course, one thing they had not factored into their idea is that people come to music events dressed up as their idols! And the Juggalo musicians have an extremely passionate group of fans who love to follow the rapper’s famous face makeup.

The Clown Posse has unlocked a secret power of getting passed facial recognition, something that the FBI may find very scary. The type of makeup which is a pattern of black on white colors defeats all of the current facial recognition software. This is because these types of programs generally identify the areas of contrast, such as around our nose, eyes, and chin. It then creates points across those areas and stores them in a database.

But the Juggalo style of makeup completely changes a person’s mouth, chin and eyes – it redefines someone’s key features. The programs cannot figure out where your jawline is for example, and this means you are pretty much safe from being caught by any recognition program.

It doesn’t defeat every type of software, so it may not become a criminal’s holy grail to walk around the city center. Apple Face ID uses depth perception and creates an image by the depth of your dimples – something that makeup doesn’t change. Still, you will be able to sneak into any concert!
