A young man was put to the test and found himself facing a very difficult situation, his current girlfriend and ex-girlfriend jumped off a bridge to find out who he would save. To say he was confused that two grown women had thrown themselves into a river would be an understatement, but that is what actually happened.

After Wu Hsia, 21, left his long term girlfriend by the name of Miss Tang after meeting a new soulmate in the Chinese city of Ningbo in the eastern Zhejiang province; he never would expect what happened next. First, there were three months of begging and hassling from Miss Tang to come back to her and then the really unexpected happened.

And the worst part was it all happened during a meeting Wu set up. Being so frustrated by all the arguing, Wu set up a meeting between all three of them. Apparently his new girlfriend Rong had been complaining about Miss Tang for some time, it had got to the point that Wu was starting to become confused as to who he wanted to be with. The answer he thought was sure to meet up and discuss everything. The meeting point was set up in a park close to a local river.

But the meeting went from bad to worst extremely quickly, as Miss Tang and Miss Rong both jumped in the river. They started to scream and flounder in the freezing cold water, Wu was dumbfounded but knew he had to act.

Eventually, he did dive in and save his current girlfriend. He then phoned the fire brigade to ensure his ex-girlfriend was also rescued. Both women had to be hospitalized briefly but luckily, no one was severely hurt. All we can say is that the course of true love never does run smooth.
