The Treasure on the Copper Scroll

When the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, there was one other treasure stashed with them…the copper scroll. The Copper Scroll is not lost…it is housed in a museum in Jordan. It is what is written on the copper scroll that has treasure seekers’ attention.

The scroll talks about the location of a treasure of great riches. Whether the treasure described on the scroll is real or fictional is up for debate, but at the time when the scroll was written, Roman armies were raiding Jewish temples and amassing a collection of treasures from items stolen from temples. Perhaps the copper scroll provides instructions for finding these stolen artifacts.
