Chris Hemsworth as Thor – Thor (2011)
“You are no match for the mighty Thor!”
As soon as Chris Hemsworth landed the role of Thor, he took up training with Duffy Gaver (who also trained Chris Pratt as Star-Lord). Hemsworth mostly focused on his arms and shoulders and in doing this, he gained a massive 20 pounds of muscle which he has maintained for several years and films.
He did this all naturally, without drugs or steroids. Duffy Gaver said of Chris: “It was just red meat and some protein powder. He crushed every single workout. He simply decided to look like Thor.”
