Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan – I’m Not There (2007)
“Everybody knows I’m not a folk singer.”
Cate Blanchett was 1 of 6 people in the film I’m Not There that portrayed the life of Bob Dylan, but she was the only female to do so.
“It’s another crazy idea, I just strapped those breasts down and went for it,” she said in an interview at the time.
Blanchett also donned a wig, a leather jacket and learned how to speak like Dylan. She also lost a lot of weight for the role as her role was a character made skinny by acid and amphetamines.
