This Is The Largest Known Cave in the World, and It Is Breathtaking

Expanding Son Doong Tourism

While the cave is visited by hundreds a year, plans to bring more tourists have been in the works. However, the plans have been met with staunch opposition.

Recently, there have been plans in place to install a cable car that will travel throughout the cave. The proposed system is said to be 6.5 miles long upon completion and would cost anywhere between $112 to $211 million. The cars would be designed to carry a large group of people allowing them to explore the cave from a level above.

In turn, their goal is to increase tourism to the Son Doong cave and the local community.
