For the average cave explorer, exploring Son Doong is a dream come true. Why would they not want to explore the largest cave in the world? A typical trek inside the cave will last a few days. Explorers will camp out in tents during the night.

The trek itself is not a walk in the park. Because of its terrain, it can become a physical challenge for some people. However, if one can climb at least six flights of steps without stopping or running out of breath, they can physically handle it. But being in the best shape won’t be enough. The mental challenges far outweigh the physical challenges by a mile.
