These Girls Swear They’re Twins, and It’s Adorable

Zuri and Jia have been applauded for the example they are setting in this time of racial unrest. Their friendship is based on their similarities and not their differences, and on what is in their hearts and souls, not what is on the surface. The two girls are living proof that racial harmony is possible and that youngsters can be raised with a blind eye to color difference.

Sarnicola agreed, “I think that’s one of the nice things about growing up in a multicultural, melting pot city. They don’t see color. We’ve never talked to them about it, period.” The girls were drawn together because of their similarities in personality and by their common interests.
