Déjà Rêvé Is An Experience Much Like Déjà Vu Only You Experienced It In A Dream

Many people may have experienced that creepy feeling when you have already see something that you have already seen in your past. And studies have even proven this is not a psychic experience or an out of this world feeling it is actually a little trick the brain likes to play on us. Déjà rêvé is, however, something very different and in this case, there is no trick.

Brain Stimulation has published a journal reporting the phenomenon that patients were able to recall a dream or have a dream like a state even when they were awake. This was referred to as the Déjà rêvé, the reasoning behind the name is that in French: Déjà Vu means “Already Seen” so Déjà rêvé means “Already Dreamed.”

It tends to happen in three different ways. In one type of Déjà rêvé you actually can remember the specific date and time you had a dream. You may experience the event and then state that this has already happened to you in a dream, confirm you saw the same object on the same table possibly. Another version of the dreamlike phenomenon is when you do not really remember the dream completely, but what is happening around you just feels vaguely familiar.

The same kind of feeling when you meet someone and feel like you already met them before, but simply can’t place exactly where it happened. And then the last way it happens, maybe the worst for the patient, is that you feel like you are in the dream or nightmare. Subjects have explained it to researchers as if they were passed out and floating.

Déjà rêvé definitely is a newly discovered phenomenon and not really much is known about it, but it may be the first steps we have towards those unexplained dreamy like feelings.
