Tatum O’Neal

The youngest Academy Award winner is Tatum O’Neal, the daughter of actor Ryan O’Neal. Tatum won her award at the age of ten for her role as Addie Loggins in the 1973 film, Paper Moon, which also starred her father. She continued acting throughout the seventies, appearing in The Bad News Bears, Nickelodeon, and Little Darlings, that latter of which marked her transition from child star to teenage temptress.

She slowed her acting career for a while but never left the business. She has recently picked up the pace, appearing in 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, Sex and the City, Rescue Me, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
